In the episode "Mr Wilson's Second Childhood" from 1962, Dennis, Tommy, and Seymour are playing leapfrog with Mr Wilson. They are joined by 2 boys, one of them looks like Kurt Russell. Nothing in the closing credits about either of the boys. I wonder if it really is Kurt Russell. I've never been able to find any info about Kurt Russell in a Dennis the Menace episode but it still looks uncannily like him. Anyone have info about this?

While Kurt Russell did do some television early in his acting career, I can find no record that he ever appeared on an episode of "Dennis the Menace." If this helps any, he was born in 1951, so he would have been 10 or 11, when the episode played on television.

he was a child actor. He also played in an episode of Gilligan's Island, playing some jungle boy. He may not have been credited for that Dennis the Menace, but then again, it could have been someone else. Just check the net...different websites will have varying info on him.

It must have been a boy who looked like Kurt. I've read that his acting debut was in "It Happened at the World's Fair" from 1963, where he played a boy who kicked Elvis Presley's character, and that's about his first credit on IMDB, which covers credited and uncredited appearances pretty well. Strangely enough, Kurt later played Elvis in a highly-rated tv movie after Elvis died.

I just recently checked this episode out and it does indeed look like Kurt Russell. I really think it's him. Sometimes the imdb is incomplete. Recently I bought The Outsiders tv series on dvd and noticed that Leonardo DiCaprio was in the pilot episode. I checked his imdb but it's not mentioned there.

It very well could've been Kurt in an uncredited role. His sister (Jeanie Russell) was Margaret!:)
