McDonald's use to sell these green mint flavored shakes called Shamrock shakes around St. Patty's Day. They always did it in the 70's and early 80's, then they disappeared from the planet. They were deeeelicious!

I remember those Shamrock Shakes, and yes, i did have one. I thought it was pretty good.

It had a pepperminty flavor to them.

The last time i remember seeing them was back in 1994 or 95 i believe.

Funny you mentioned about these shakes because today after lunch, I was considering going over to McDonald's to ask if they had those shakes.

It wasn't too long ago these were available. I remember telling myself I would get one in 1998, but eight years have gone by and STILL haven't gotten one. Wow....

BTW, what flavor were those green Shamrock shakes? Or was it just vanilla with food coloring on them?

Shamrock shakes were so good. I used to work at Mcdonalds, and alot of customers would order chocolate and shamrock mixed.
