One time something similar to this happened to me, it was just an accident but it was funny. They should do random hilarious things on American Idol like that. Not have him actually die, but have some comedy drama happen like something heavy falling on Simon while hes giving his comments, putting him in the Hospital, then assign Ryan Cabrera to his job for a week.
