Hi Evreyone i was just wondering if Sony Pictures is palning on realsing Seinfeld season 7 in May i was just wondering why we have not Heard a Thing about it I Know when Season 4 Came out last may we stated hearing about it in late Feb Early March im kind of Very Surprized we have not head a thing about season 7 As of yet

I looked up the release date on season seven on Video ETA, one of the best DVD release sites around, and I couldn't find anything anywhere about Sienfeld. Here is the website if you wish to try and find it, maybe I overlooked it.

This is by no means official, but I remember reading on one of these boards that Season 7 is supposed to be out in May, and then seasons 8 and 9 will both be released in November...that will complete the series.

But I don't think I've seen that anywhere but on these boards... I don't really keep up with this stuff, I just get the dvds whenever they come out...but I was interested in this particular show, so I made a mental note of the release months for the last 3 seasons...

May 16 would make sense as a release date, since it will fall on a Tuesday, when most DVD sets are released. Also another trivia note, May 16 will be the 10th anniversary of the original airing of The Invitations, which happened to be the 7th season finale as well, and was ground-breaking for a sitcom, for good or bad, in looking for humor in the death of a recurring character.

I signed up for video ETA release mail so i will be notified the instant a secure release date for season seven is announced. I will post it here if I haven't been beaten to it yet....lol.

I'm starting to get a bit worried about Seinfeld: Season 7. Sony has announced new releases for several of its shows today (King of Queens, Married with Children etc) yet there is still no mention of Seinfeld. Today's announcements are due out on June 20th. Last year, Seinfeld was released in May and was announced much earlier than April. I hope Sony haven't shelved Seinfeld - surely they've been very popular with consumers?

I personally don't think it will come out in May, believe me I hope I am wrong. We usually hear atleast 2 - 3 months ahead of time when Seinfeld is coming out, and tvshowsondvd.com has not heard anything. I heard from a source, take it how you want, that season 7,8, and 9 will come out in November, because single season sets don't sell as well. When season 4 came out by itself it did not sell as well as season 1,2, and 3 or season 5 and 6. I do hope the person is wrong!

I know my Brother asked me when is Seinfeld Season 7 coming out we both throught it was March of 2006.
