Howdoulikemenow333 03-17-2006, 01:11 AM If you take Ambein please take it before you you go to sleep in at least 15 to 30 minutis before bed. I have been taking Ambein for 2 years now and I still have or do things with out knowing what I am doing. I just saw on the news about Ambeinand the people who take the drug, this one lady did'nt remembr doing her dishes or sleep eatin whilg taking it, her son decied to tape her and she beleived the next day. I have been taking over the counter sleep meds also, but, sometimes I take Ambein with it it makes me sleep faster. One night I took the med and the next morning the place was a mess, i don't remember geting a frozen chicken out and put cann asparguse with canned tomatoes and put it back in the freezer, untill the next day when I opend the freezer up.Anyways now, I just take one and it helps, but the commercial saysit is not addictive to the drub, but I think it is.

It'd be fun to take that stuff and see if I sleep talked on the internet and rambled on like an idiot about random things.
Especially if I came on here.
Ireneparalegal 03-17-2006, 02:00 AM I think i took it because I went away for five minutes, came back and EVERYTHING IS GREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, the colors *Irene looking around*
Mr. Stefani 03-17-2006, 02:09 AM When i take oxycodiene before bed i cant remember anything.
dawsongirl 03-17-2006, 02:12 AM You really shouldn't be taking 2 sleeping pills together. That's really not a good idea.
As for the addiction thing, just because it isn't physically habit forming, doesn't mean it can't be psychologically. One time I was hooked on Axid (a stomach pill). I had just convinced myself that I needed it and couldn't function without it, but it's not like there were any withdrawl symptoms.

I believe hearing on the Ambien commercial that Ambien did have a habit forming warning, all sleep aids do. I did take this drug once, when I couldn't sleep for daays. I did sleep but first, I came out and apparently started talking about barbies as my mother tells me. I will NEVER believe it (Although after reading this, it's entirely possible) lol So I never took it again. Tylenol PM knocks me right out!:faint: <:Me sleeping
Kazza 03-17-2006, 10:07 AM Make sure to go to bed and chain yourself to it right after taking Ambien. That way you'll be safe.

Thanks for the ideal, I know where to get hand cuff's.
Ireneparalegal 03-17-2006, 04:02 PM If Ambien is what you take for sleep, and it has those side effects...screw it. I wouldn't take something like that. I use Benadryl. No side effects, and it's not habit-forming either. Just take a teaspoon or two and off to sleep and somber.
This thread sounds like those prescription commercials on t.v.

I need to get off of them any ways and Benadryl helps me fall alsleep fast, also I always wake up about 4 or 5 times a night it sucks sometimes, then i can't get to sleep.
AllIWantIsYourClutch 03-17-2006, 06:50 PM One of my friends takes Ambien and she used to call me in the middle of the night saying the most incoherent things.

I had insomnia real bad and with all the different sleep prescriptions, I found (at least for me) that Benadryl is the best. I just sometimes need to take a little bit of it and it makes me sleepy. If I take the recommended dose, I will be out ASAP. But sometimes I hate that feeling of falling asleep so fast. So I just take a little sip of it and it works. You kinda have to adjust to what works for you.
Cashodeen 03-17-2006, 08:10 PM How often do you take Ambien? It's not usually supposed to be taken for two years. And don't take two sleep medicines at once! I think it's time to go back to your doctor.
Ireneparalegal 03-17-2006, 08:13 PM That's crazy that a prescription drug does that. I can see it now some crazy person is going to try to get a prescription for it and then commit a crime of some sort and blame it on Ambien.
I will stay with my Benadryl.
