So I actually found 2 copies of the Black & White version at my local Best Buy, I also planned on buying the more available colorized version....in the flyer it states that Season one is on sale for $29.99 this week.....when I went to pay they actually charged me $34.99 for B&W and $29.99 for color, when I questioned it the brain surgeons at Best Buy looked at the flyer for 2 minutes, scratched their heads but refused to budge....stating that "colorized" was only on sale! Pointing to the picture in the flyer...no where on the flyer does it state "colorized only"....just wanted everyone to know...no wonder why consumers shop on line leading to the demise of "The Wiz", "Suncoast" and "Sam Goody" stores here on the east coast. I enjoy my weekly trips to Best Buy for the latest releases but it is a shame they are now the only game in town.

I had a similar situation at one of the Best Buys here in Oklahoma City. The first one I went to had only the colorized version, so I went to the one by Quail Springs Mall and found the black and white version on the table with all the new releases. There was also a card that said "I DREAM OF JEANNIE SEASON 1, $29.99". The sign did not specify one version over the other (and at least at this store, only the B&W version was on the table). When I went to check out it also came up as regular price. However when I brought the sale price to the cashier's attention she went to the display table, saw the same thing I saw and sold the B&W edition to me for the sale price. :)

Earlier in the week I had received some Best Buy coupons in the mail, one of which was for 10% off regular priced DVDs, CDs, etc., so I went and picked up the season 1 box set of POLICE WOMAN, which was $49.99 and not on sale. When I went to check out, the scanner would not accept the coupon. So the guy reads the coupon and says that it "does not apply to new releases" (?!?). I told him that I was definitely not satisfied with that explanation and that this box set was not on sale. He tried to pawn off the excuse that the coupon is valid for a lot more mrechandise in the store, however I told him that since the coupon expired that night and that the Police Woman box set was what I wanted and that it was $49.99 and NOT on sale, the coupon was worthless to me. I also asked him to take my name and address out of the database and to stop sending me any more coupons. Long story short, he gave me the $4.99 discount and honored the coupon for me.
