Of course there is several of them. CRT TV's, DLP TV's, HDTV's LCD TV's, Plasma TV's, Rear Projection TV's.
If you were to spend a lot of money on a new TV, which one do you believe has the best picture quality? :)

I read in Consumer Reports that a High Def CRT is the best picture money can buy.

I don't know which "type" of tv necessarily, but as far as brand I would definitely recommend Samsung!
We have a 52" rear-projection tv that we have had since '96 and has been through numerous moves since then and it is showing no signs of degradation or stopping. Wasn't even that expensive. We bought it at H.H. Gregg for $1,200.

Definately LCD's... they have the best overall PQ. LCD's cost considerably much more than plasmas, etc., so if you don't want to waste that much money go with an LCD PROJECTION.
The latest and Sharp AQUOS, Sony BRAVIA's, and Samsung LCDTV's are all great.

Yeah, those are REALLY nice TV's- especially when they are connected to an HD signal.
