...from what I was doing, I decided to visit here for a while, and post something that I heard Barbara Eden say on "Good Morning America" this morning on ABC (she and Larry Hagman were on, promoting the release of the show on DVD and talking about it).
Anyway, you may have heard that NBC didn't allow her to show her belly button during the shows run. But, that didn't really become an issue until the 3rd season; when she guested once on "Rowan & Martins Laugh-In".
Also, she finds that a little strange, because they filmed 3 episodes in Hawaii and they had girls in bikinis on the beach in some scenes.
Also, for those who care, she and Larry Hagman are currently appearing in a play called "Love Letters". Just decided to throw that in!

Any mention of the new Jeannie movie remake? I'd like to know if she has a part in it playing the Mother.

I have all the talk shows that Larry and Barbara were on that week, on tape. Yes, the movie was mentioned. On one talk show, Barbara said that she and Larry would have to play the grandparents, but they laughed when she said that, so who knows if it was true. On another talk show, Barbara said that they were hung up with script problems. A little insight to that - one of my good friends got to go backstage at Love Letters in Florida, and talked to Barbara about that movie thing. They can't get a script that isn't laden with more inconsistencies and more problems.
The only ones that the talk shows said were "for sure" were Kate Hudson and Jimmy Fallon. But if you look at other online sources, NO One is for certain sure.
More certain sure is the Dallas movie. John Travolta is set to play JR Ewing, and Larry said he couldn't be happier about it on several talk shows. On one of the first talk shows that mentioned that movie, the host said something about J-Lo playing Sue Ellen, and it was obvious to me that Larry hadn't heard this information! By the third talk show that mentioned that, Larry had made his peace with the information and was speaking positively about that.

DonnaI heard or read somewhere that the "IDOJ" movie is set for a Sept. release. I think I read it on tvshowsondvd.com
And, I HOPE that cast for the "DALLAS" movie is somebodys idea of a joke!!! Besides John Travolta and J. Lo. they're also thinking of-get this- SHIRLEY MCLAINE AS MISS ELLIE & LUKE WILSON AS BOBBY!!! I swear, I'm not making that up-wish I was though!
