Jack owned his own restaraunt, Janet was the manager of a flower shop and Terri was a registered nurse, yet, they still lived together in a two bedroom apartment. Didn't they have enough money to move out on their own or at the very least, upgrade to a bigger apartment?

not to mention Larry never seeming to have any trouble making rent and having enough money for his own car when he was living by himself.

Yeah, that was kind of weird. They could have at least gotten a bigger apartment if they didn't want to live on their own.

Yeah, that Larry thing didn't make sense. You mean to tell me that a used car salesman made more money combined than a restaraunt owner, a manager and a nurse? lol

 Something's wrong there. I wonder if Larry was selling something else besides cars.

Which is why it was so unrealistic because I would think someone who is late 20's and early 30's would want their own space and privacy. So if That was a real life situation the guy would have something going on with atleast one of the females if he was straight

Let's not forget that Terri actually moved out of her OWN apartment to share an apartment with two people.-lol

Oh that's right, I forgot about that. I wonder if they raised the rent of her old place to something she couldn't afford.

Yeah, but you could pick apart most all tv shows that way. It's just entertainment, and maybe that's what's "wrong" with tv nowadays. Too much reality and not enough fantasy. Reality can be boring, and it reflects in a lot of the ridiculous television out there today.

I always thought, "Why is Terri not living by herself? I mean, she is a nurse...don't they get payed alot?" LOL

That's the impression I got when watching her first episode.

I know in the early episodes, their rent was $300 a month. So they each paid $100. I'm not sure if their rent was raised thoughout the years. I know Furley has said he would raise it. I don't know if he actually did.

Maybe the trio wanted to save up (as much as they could) and invest their BIG BUCKS down the road. Hey, sounds like a good plan to me. :)

Only problem with that is they were always having rent problems so they were broke.

I never really understood that. A restraunt owner, flower shop manager, and a nurse were all living together and had rent problems all the time. That is pretty wierd. Oh well, the plot made a very terrific show.
