It was about a bank robber who threw a rock through a bank's window and stood by to see if the police would show up. Does anyone have any more details about this case?

That's right.....nohwheregirl. it was the Krazy Glue Bandit. Genius in my opinion(Bad genius , but genius none the less). The police had a suspect in the case but never had the proper evidence to bring an arrest. Shortly after the segement aired, Stack informed that the prime suspect (who had not been named ) was killed in a motorcycle accident, ther police consider the case as closed. It would have been cool to see who he was though. :D

I'm guessing that they had too little evidence to have his name released to the public.

That would be my guess. The police could be held liable if they took him in and he wasn't the guy. but It hasn't occured since so I guess it's a moot point.
