I was watching the episode last night abt JJ and the older woman. And I noticed it before but I had to really take a good look during these past replays of GT, that if you look at Flo in the first season and it seems hard to believe that she and Willona are the same age; and then you look at her in that episode when Flo is asking Willona abt "dating younger guys", it just seems, that Flo really looks great and they could pass as having been around the same age. Flo seemed to look less "dumpy" (don't get me wrong); she had better clothes and of course she had more hair. Flo in the first episodes of the first season seemed to really look "blah".

I think in the first season they were trying more to go for the "gritty" look, with everyone's clothes, the setting, etc. By season 4 it had changed somewhat. That may have something to do with it.

yeah, definitely. Flo just seemed to have a much better overall look and she and Willona, at least in that episode, could pass as high school friends.

I think that after season 1 Flo wore more makeup also, especially in the 6th season.

yeah she did. She looked like she was ready to go to work as opposed to the first season where she looked like she was a typical stay at home mom.
