is "Some of that Jazz" It was just too serious for me and didn't have the typical feel of a Three's Company Episode.

I think it did in the way that it showed how much all the characters cared for each other and wanted nothing bad to happened to the other!! Even RF trying to help Janet keep her "BF" LOL!! But of course mostly the love <romatic or in friendship, how ever you like to look at it> that existed btw them, always there for each other!!!

But I think it was different b/c never before did Janet meantion she wanted to be a dancer or anything like that but I TOTALLY LOVE IT!!!!! JACK is such a sweetheart in it!!!

No, I agree with you. I could care less about Jack and Janet moments.
It was too serious. TC is supposed to be a comedy.

They were trying to add some depth to the characters, and there were some funny parts too. There have been several serious episodes, like "Chrissy's Hospitality" to name one. There has to be some seriousness every now and then to help the viewer learn to love the characters. I think it's a great episode, Jack and Janet moment or no Jack and Janet moment.

I don't need seriousness when watching a sitcom, if I want that I can just watch a drama-lol

I definitely think it was too serious. That being said though, I do think it had some funny moments.....

Not my favorite episode, but by far not my least favorite episode!!

It was ok... I wouldn't call it the worst, but not the best either. It was one of those serious ones we get once in a while (Chrissy's Hospitality, Some of that Jazz, Star Struck.. etc). All the touching awwww onces lol..... they are kina out of place, but you know you love em' :D

I can kind of see how you guys wouldn't like it, but I mean there should be at least a few episodes where it shows how much these people care for each other. TC was about a man and two women living together, so why wouldn't there be a time when they all cared for each other? I thought it was really sweet and it brought out the characters to make them seem more real.

Exactly that's what its supposed to be. Some people mentioned Chrissy's Hospitality. That episode was one of my favorites but it never really went into drama. Although it was clear that Jack and Janet cared for her, it was funny because of their reactions to thinking she was dying. With this episode, the last 5 or more minutes, their wasn't one laugh. I mght as well have been watching a soap opera. I think every episode of TC was good in its own way but I never really like Sitcom's that went outside the comedy and into drama. I watch sitcoms to laugh.

True but in most of the episodes they did it in a comedy environment. This episode they went out of that environment and became a drama...at least for a part of that episode.

It was about Janet's dance teacher making her think that she was a great dancer when she was really that good only because he wanted to "make it" with her

Oh that one: "I don't think you have what it takes to make it as a dancer."

Janet: I don't think you have what it takes to make it as a human being".

Yeah I see what you mean, but I mean if they didn't have something dramatic or anything that brought out their real character and personality, wouldn't they all just be dull? I'm pretty sure that everyone comedy show had at least one dramatic episode, probably in the final episodes, or maybe something dramatic in it, and I'm glad TC had a few episodes like that. It also really showed how well these actors could do drama too.

Yea that's true and I don't hate the episode...its not one of my favorites but I really don't think their was a real terrible episode on TC. John Ritter was really good at drama as he showed on Hooperman. It's to bad that show didn't last longer.

Yeah, I get what you mean. They kind of threw a curve ball at everyone with the dramatic episode but there were still funny moments. Actually, the only dramatic part I remember is just the last part really. I personally don't mind drama in a comedy, I really like it. And yeah, John was a really good dramatic actor. I wish I could have seen Hooperman.
