I was looking through my T.V. Guide and on one of the days of the coming weeks (I think Tue.) It said Unsloved Mysteries will be coming on from 1-1:30! 30min! I don't ever remmber there being a 30min Unsloved Mysteries Epsiode! This should be intersting!

Yes, UM plays 30 minute episodes on Mystery Channell in Canada, as well!

I haven't seen a 30 minute episode in forever! Does that mean they are reducing us to only 30 minutes now?? If this is an UM burn off strategy, I am going to be very pissed!

It doesn't look like that's an everyday thing, although one day next week "Cheerleader Nation" will be on instead of UM.

There have been a myriad of thirty minute episodes as late as this past summer. They usually aren't anything special but air when LIFETIME has a afternoon movie that runs extra long.
What they do in this case is "chop up" a pre-existing episode of UM and show maybe two segments from that episode and then roll credits and onto the afternoon movie. Its just another way of them "blocking off"" that one random half hour time slot they have to fill before they start the movie.

I think they should just run a whole hour of UM! But at least I have Half/Days this week so I can watch it this week!

Blech. I feel like Lifetime is looking for a way to eliminate UM from its lineup. It makes me very sad.

I always liked the thirty minute installments because they sometimes included stories that were omitted from the hour long versions. The Keith Reinhard and Tara Calico segments come to mind.

They actually showed the Tara Calico segment on Lifetime in a half-hour installment? Wow. I had to download that segment in order to see it....
