Just watched that TAG Scene and it wasn't that funny to me. To me the Tag scene when Furley tells how he performed CPR on his date was the best so far.

I loved it but my FAVORITE BY WAY FAR IS THE ENDING TO MATE FOR EACH OTHER!!!

i love watching all the extra footage they cut out...i just watched the janet wig episode and i was heartwrenched a tad when janet was so mean to mr furley. it was so sad!!! and i wasnt satisfied with the resolution!

I agree mostly since Don had just passed I was like omg how sad:( HIs face was so sad and hurt!!! Made me feel so bad for him and wanted to be like what in the world Janet!!! Because Janet always went out w/RF non of the other girls ever did!!! She was his date and his scramble buddy and I hated watching her be so rude to him! No wonder Joyce hated that epi I don't blame her!!!

There is no bed scene in the tag of "The Matchbreakers" They're sitting on the couch. And thinking it's funny doesn't mean you're reading too much into it. It's a Sitcom It's supposed to be funny!

The difference is the whole board doesn't revolve around Larry and Terri being together. I used to think Jack and Chrissy made a cute couple but in reality none of the gang belonged with each other. They were all just friends and that's what they were set up as. If Jack and Janet were meant to be together, they would have been. I never really even thought of them as being a couple until I saw all the posts at SO. I know one thing, it was never a subject when the show was originally on.

I don't think every episode revolves around Jack and Janet. How could it? The show is based on 3 roomates, not two. Although I think they're cute together, I certainly don't think the show should be based on them. It wouldn't have the same comic elements if it were. Jack may be my favorite character, but without supporting characters like Larry and Furley, there would be no TC.
And show me the threads were I make every episode into Jack & Janet! I didn't even do that with this one, others did. I like the scene because of both Janet and Terri. Without Terri in this scene, it wouldn't have been funny.

I don't know know where you got that the original idea was for Jack and Janet to be together but Jack already saw her parents? I heard JR comment on that and although he said that, it was never seriously considered. He was mainly responding to the people of today who seem to think they made a great couple. Back then the fans didn't really care about that. It's history being re-written. If their had been any fan interest in seeing that, the Producers would have found a way to make it work. The ratings for TC were heading south big time in season 8 and they needed to do something to try to fix it. That's when they came up with TAC. What killed that show was not the fact that Jack and Janet weren't together, but that The A-Team was defeating every show that aired opposite it back then.


I will agree with you about Larry. That was a cute episode and it showed another side of Larry that was seldom seen. :)

Really? Where did you hear that? I heard somewhere (maybe from Drum, not sure!), that I think Joyce wanted the spin-off to be with Janet and Jack married, but I'm not positive about this.

Either way, let the people who like Jack and Janet together like them, let people who like Larry and Terri together like them, and just let everyone like whoever they like. If anyone thinks this board is like filled with Jack and Janet stuff together, then why not ignore the threads that have those stuff? Everyone is allowed to post their own opinions about the show, so it's kind of rude to be dissing people.

I totally agree w/you If you like who you like that is fine w/me I am not trying to force anyone into JJ!!! I know I am guilty of being a big time Jack and Janet fan and I post JJ stuff but I don't ever complain if people like Larry/Terri or anyone else I just skip over that and leave it alone b/c I understand people have different opinioins!!! So I AM VERY SORRY AND I APOLOGIZE if I ever made you feel like your opinion doesn't count or anything like that!! To me there were JJ moments in the ending of Matchbreakers b/c I am a Jack and Janet fan I will pick up on stuff like that even if no one else does and if I post them and you don't agree that is fine w/me you can either ignor it or just say I didn't see it!!! I heard it on True Hollywood Story,and the guy said that they were thinking of having Jack fall in in love with Janet and have the spin-off be about them,but they brought Janet's parents in too soon,so it wouldn't work
