Which city? Not every UPN station has the same lineup for their afternoon shows.

The show has been on the Screen Gems channel. I can't get it, so I'm not sure if this is correct or not. But, I heard that it is not on this week, but will return next week.

Yes Most people do get UPN. Screengems plays Monkees and sometimes it played bewitched and Jeannie in their place.

Interesting that you should ask about The Monkees,considering your handle-GilliganLuver.The Monkees first came on in 1966 on NBC-opposite Gilligan's Island on CBS.And although at first,believe it or not,I watched Gilligan,my younger brother quickly turned me on to the Monkees.I loved the Monkees by the end of 1966-and by the end of the 1966-67 season,Gilligan's Island had been washed off the air.

The Monkees was on Nick at Nite for 5 weeks in the summer of '97.

They replaced it with Green Acres for the rest of the summer, due to "low ratings". Never even got to see "The Devil and Peter Tork" because of that.

I have hated Nick at Nite ever since. Especially since I've never had access to any channels which aired the screen gems network stuff. Of course, that's a moot point now, since it's even gone from SGN.

Wonder if TV Land would ever pick up the MOnkees?

The Monkees was on the screen gems network a few weeks ago, back to back with The Partridge Family. It should be on again soon.
