There is a clip in the opening credits where the three girls are sitting on the couch and Blanche pulls her hand into her red sleeve.
I have seen the Golden Girls a million times and have never seen that.
Does someone know if that was edited out? I cannot beleive I have missed an episode. Thanks.

That was a scene that had been taped for the 1st season episode, Break-In. However, the scene was never used for the actual episode and used only for the opening credits.

i hope they add deleted scences in the 7th season DVD set

That's also from the "Break In" episode. However, the version that made it into the episode is a slower one. They obviously did several takes of it and decided to use the faster one in the credits. Either that, or they sped up the one in the episode for the credits.
