Was the actress fired or something because it was weird in the later seasons that you never see or hear from her ever again.....what became of her?:confused:

I know I would like to know what became of Mrs Power also.

Maybe season 2 or 3 will explain the disappearance of Sandra Kearns in general? Maybe Scott has an explaination behind the whole thing....it just felt weird all of a sudden that she just left and it was just Grandpa Powell, the kids, Buddy, Aunt Lilly, and Charles.

I recently watched several episodes of the show, including pretty much the entire last season, and it was strange seeing her in the opening credits to every ep, but she was very rarely there...

Yeah, it was strange.

I know that this thread has a slight bit of age to it but Sandra took some time off to take care of her kids. She appeared in one episode from then 88'-89' season and then in two episodes from the last season. I was always looking for her too but then was relieved to find out that she was still there but on a hiatus.
