in Window Pained when we first see Mike and Debi, their house is to the left of the Heffernans but when Carrie realizes the window is open in their office later in the episode, the house is to the right.

I liked spences Original mom, she was more crazy
She was played by Grace Zabriskie; a remarkably wonderful actress. She always seems to play eccentric characters. She played George Costanza's future mother in law to be on Seinfeld.

Not exactly a 'goof', I guess, but I just noticed this the other day on the WB...

In the episode where Carrie is mad that Doug doesn't think about her during the day....it shows her coming home from work two or three times and she walks by Lou's house and talks to him. Where is she coming from?

I don't recall it ever showing her coming home and walking by Lou's house before. It doesn't make sense to me. Unless she was supposed to have came home on a bus or something, and she's walking home from the bus stop?

Ant-Lox
03-24-2006, 05:26 PM
Maybe she was coming from the bus or the train .... because they do only have one car.....

I just found one. In the very funny "King Pong" near the end of the show, Doug and Carrie start kissing and if you watch the wall where their blinds are, first there's an empty space on the wall, then you can see someone putting the blinds on the wall as the scene is going on.

this ep. also had the 'moving paddle' LOL

Thanks for showing me the way to the "slip ups." Apparently I did not answer their questionnaire to their liking, so I was not able to post the "slip ups" I've seen....

Like don't even get me started --- If you do a cut to the past, as in D&C's wedding, where were Deacon & Kelly?

And Sweetdiggity, I'll have to get with you on this one because I don't remember the episode, but didn't Mr. O'Boyle die? Doug went to visit him in the hospital, and they were just covering up the dead Mr. O'Boyle.

But in the episode where Doug overcomes his fear to ride that rollercoaster, Mr. O'Boyle is in line, too, with 2 sons.

Between watching reruns 6 days a week, and I don't think they're shown in order, I may be wrong on this one.

Oy vey...don't even get me started on how the outside of the house doesn't match the inside and the upstairs floor plan can in no way correspond with the downstairs....

I believe the guy that you're thinking about is Perelli in "White Collar". O'boyle was also played by a different actor. Perelli died in the end, and Doug took the job as Shift Supervisor but started to get bored with it.

Anybody want to come over to Arthur's basement? "Frozen Pop" was on WWOR-9 tonight. God that's a great episode.

"Road Rayge"--season 1

This episode has the greatest blunder of the whole show!I hadn't watched this for a couple of years until today. Now while it has one of my favorite openings ever, the fact that Carrie reveals that her and Doug met in Jr. High, was shocking! It wouldn't have been at the time, but it pretty much blows the whole "when Carrie met Dougie" episode out of the water!
This has probably been posted on the board at some point, but I'm too lazy to go back and read through a bunch of threads right now. :)
Actually,I guess the "when Carrie met Dougie" ep.is the greatest blunder.

sweetdiggity

I watched "Class Struggle" last night, and the lady who they sang happy birthday to, looked familiar, I knew I seen her before, couldn't remember where. then I remembered, she also played Sofia, Carrie's mom, in the flashback of "Maybe Baby". Either that, or she has a frickin' twin. She's only listed as a guest star for KoQ once. Am I just crazy? anyone else notice?

In the 2001 ep. "Departure Time" Doug's mom tells him "Happy 30th" in this seasons "Emotional Rollercoaster" he turned 40. shouldn't he be 35?

And in "Package Deal",also 2001, Doug said he'd been at IPS for 8 years, this seasons "Consummate Professional" they said it was his 10 year anniversary, and that he started there in 1995. It just doesn't add up. *LOL*

Not much of a goof, but in "Loaner Car" Deacon said Carrie's meatloaf was terrible, Doug agreed.
Remember when Carrie made meatloaf for Stu and Danny? Stu said how friggin' delicious it was?

As usual, I was watching my 9 & 9:30 pm fix of KOQ reruns.... I don't know the name of this episode.

In this episode, it starts off with Doug wanting to buy a chain saw advertised on TV. This leads to a throw-back, or recreation, of when they first went house shopping "10 years ago...."

At one point, Doug is standing next to his locker at IPS. Now remember, this was supposed to be "10 years ago."

Doug begins to shave off half his mustache, and since I'm so into sets, I really didn't hear what a bald-headed Deacan had to say, but I did notice that 2 lockers to the left of Doug's locker is a locker with the name "Danny Heffernan" :happyface on it.

I love those writers...

I orginally posted this over at KJs, but I just thought of something else about this episode. When D&C are looking at the house on 3121 Aberdeen, there is another couple looking at the house, as well. This couple is standing in the kitchen, talking to D&C in the dining room thru the pass thru..... This tall blonde with glasses looks like one of Carrie's coworkers in the episode where Carrie wants to get a beer stein engraved, and it turns out the saying was from "that" movie something JoJo --- one of the 2 coworkers Carrie is with looks incredibly similar to the other tall blonde with glasses....

Again, I'm not sure if this was a goof or not, but in the exact episode that michelle was talking about, either Doug or Carrie, can't remember which says that they were married ten years ago which would make it 1994, since the episode was made in 2004. However, in the episode where Doug is worried about Carrie getting fat like her mother, Carrie says that the wedding was in 1995. I hope that I'm not going mental again.

Not sure if this was already mentioned...

In "Richie's Song", Spence found the peanut M&Ms under the seat in Doug and Carrie's car and began to eat them.

Then why the hell would he eat the M&Ms?

I've got one [& I'm hoping it wasn't mentioned]

In the episode Party Favor Doug hands out cigars in honor of Danny's bachelor party. Danny asks the guys not to smoke them in front of him because it can trigger his asthma.

cut to

Lush Life Danny, Lou, Spence, Deac, & Doug are playing poker. Danny is seen smoking up a stogie himself. Asthma indeed? HMM lol.

Remember when Doug's car got messed up and he sold it to spence.
He said he had the car from the young age of 21,on the ep when Doug first met Aurther he was drivin some sorta bug car thing. did he just have 2 cars or what cause when doug met Artie he couldn't have been older than 28.

Couple of goofs from Tank Heaven (http://www.snapdrive.net/files/159078/KoQ%20Video/Tank%20Heaven-goofs.wmv)
1) Danny eats the "nucleus" in 2 secs.?
2) Check the end of this clip with Doug & Carrie.
Look over the top of Carrie's head out the window.
See anything that shouldn't be there?

I just noticed this today.
In the season 2 'episode index', the ep. "Sparing Carrie" uses Carrie's name in the title, but on the interactive dvd menu, it's says "Sparing Carry."

See?

"Road Rayge"--season 1

This episode has the greatest blunder of the whole show!I hadn't watched this for a couple of years until today. Now while it has one of my favorite openings ever, the fact that Carrie reveals that her and Doug met in Jr. High, was shocking! It wouldn't have been at the time, but it pretty much blows the whole "when Carrie met Dougie" episode out of the water!

And in the ep. Veiled Threat, Carrie says they met at a bar during jello shot night.

In the intro to an episode in season 4, doug was too lazy to go upstairs to replace the batteries in his remote. So he went over to a smoke alarm as to grab those....But every smoke alarm I've ever seen uses a 9 volt battery, and just about every TV remote uses AAA or AA batteres :D

Maybe thats a stretch
