Just to post a little bit of Waltons trivia. In the episodes with the young woman who played 'Jenny' ( John boy's girlfriend) in real life he(Richard Thomas) and Sian Barbara Allen( 'Jenny') dated for several years during the 70's.

Also, he also did a movie called 'You'll like my mother' with a very young Patty Duke. And Sian Barbara Allen played his sister in it. This role that he played was very different from John-Boy. This movie was also made in 1972 around the time that Richard Thomas was in 'The Waltons'. If you ever come across this movie, you'll see what I mean.
