Alot of you seem quite knowledable and thus I figured I would ask this here.

Can any of you think of a person who was missing for an extended period of time. (by extended I'm talking at least 10 years... but preferably 15 to 20 years or more) and then was either found alive, or simply turned back up?

I find this stuff interesting, but can't think of a single case with that much time passing, of a person being found still living.. but imagine there has to be 'some' documented cases of that sort of thing.

Thanks!

I'm sketchy on the details but there was a Vietnam vet who never really came home. His family thought he was a POW or MIA. Eventually he was found living in a small town in Australia. Something like 20 years later. His family wanted him to come home for good but I believe he did return to Australia.

Anyone know more about this story? Not an Unsolved Mysteries case but still compelling.

Patricia Carlton. If you do a search on these forums under that name, and Pat Ann Teer Snyder, you'll find a few threads about her.
