Somebody at the IMDB message board says it's been delayed due to purchase conflicts. Does anybody have any information on this, or is still scheduled to be available on DVD in April?

The release date was pushed back to June 27th. It will be released on that date and not in April. I know ... it's a bummer. :(

Thanks for the info. :)

I can still watch it on TV from a Toronto station, but I prefer the uncut DVD. I hope it won't be delayed any longer.

You're welcome! :)

Gosh, you're lucky that you even have the show on the air! Where I live, there's no network or local channel that carries the show. And the last time I've seen the show was on TV Land which was over six years ago. So, I'm really looking forward to the DVD release in June! Hopefully, I won't be on summer vacation during that time.

Yeah, it also comes on here. Right after Leave It to Beaver.

KCBS-TV Channel 2 in Los Angeles, aired "All in the Family" on weekends at 4:00 and 4:30pm depending on the size of their sports schedule around 2004 and 2005. If the sports schedule is 'light', the show would get its airing before the local news at 5:00pm, if not, Archie would be off the schedule if an overtime occurs during a live sporting event. I first heard of AITF airing on channel 2 at GSN's message boards and I thought, this is really cool! A classic series airing again on a station originally aired in prime time!!

CTS used to include the opening tag scene before the main titles, if you remember. But Sun-TV doesn't. :(

But Sun-TV doesn't have a voiceover at the end titles, and lets the show run right through to the closing logo. :)

Oh well... Can't win them all, I guess.

Here is what the new DVD Box set will look like, by the way:

I can wait until it comes on video in June. :)

I believe they were talking about Family Affair not All in the Family. Unless you meant FA?
