In case you haven't already heard about it, Malaika Griffin has been tried and convicted of killing her neighbor. She was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

She was on the run for six years, wanted for killing Jason Horsley in 1999. In addition to being profiled on UM in 2001, She was featured on America's Most Wanted. It wasn't until 2005, just after her AMW profile was broadcast for the eighth time, when she was finally captured.

It just took the right viewer to be watching the show, which is very typical in many other cases profiled on UM and/or AMW. But she is no longer on the run, and that's what matters most.

As for commentary, I'm so glad that they've found this woman guilty. She had absolutely NO reason to murder Jason Horsley, other than the delusional rantings in her head. I'm glad that she was captured and that the family can finally get *some* closure over this senseless death.

My only suggestion would be to first use this "woman" for scientific testing purposes; i.e. conduct medical experiments on her, test new cosmetics on her eyes to establish product safety, inject her with cancer and then use her body to appraise the effectivness of new drugs, ect, ect.

This "woman" has less intrinsic worth than a rat; at least by serving her last days as a laboratory guinea pig, she will have contributed something to mankind before her wretched existence is snuffed out.

Malaika Griffin, inmate no. 130579 is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole. Griffin was born on May 11th, 1971. Griffin is currently serving her time at the Denver Women's Correctional Facility in Denver, Colorado. I think Griffin deserved death and she should consider herself lucky she got off with life without parole.

that story bothered me, that women was scum, and what goes around comes around. BTW, not all brown people are africans. Just wanted to point that out, but she is a neanderthal who most definatly needs spiritual guidance and phychological help. Way to many crazy people in this world. It makes me sad :(

That was real classy. Calling a murder victim "delusional" because he thought that being nice to a mean lady would get them to change as a person. But then, what would I expect from the most persistent "Patsy Ramsey did it" poster on this forum? Do us a favor and get lost.

Ms. Griffin was definitely someone who had no respect or value of a human life, and basically shot the guy in the back like a coward and ran for her miserable life. He didn't deserve what happened to him, all over something so trivial. It warms the cockles of my heart to know that a person like her is off the streets and can't do the same thing to someone else. Good riddance!
