Ok, Just wanted to make sure he wasn;t lying.-lol Lamont 03-08-2006, 01:57 PM it was a Sid and Marty Krofft show, like Bugaloos, Lost Saucer etc here is a link for more info http://www.tv.com/pryors-place/show/1767/summary.html snl 70s show fan 03-09-2006, 08:31 PM its a very good show and i remember it was somewhat controversial at the time it first aired in 1984 because alot of cbs affilate managers did not want to carry the show and they gave the same old lame excuses ie we dont think he is a good role moddel for kids and he has a history of drug use blah blah blah but it turned out that most of the crtics and parents liked the show its a shame that it never caught on i use to watch it almost every saturday and i was 13 at the time Lamont 03-09-2006, 08:37 PM they only aired like 2 eps, then canned it b/c of pryors language and drug use they were afraid kids would think he was cute and then sneak and listen to their parents old comedy LP'S (THIS IS PROBABLY TRUE as I used to sneak into my dads REDD FOXX Lp's back in the 70s!) PLUS after what happened with Pee Wee, i guess they were overly protective BUT i think it was some of the best stuff pryor ever did  |
