That was an interesting and good article. I wasn't surprised by what I read... I also remember reading another article that talked about how the death of James on Good Times was the biggest mistake ever. The death played into the black, single mother stereotype raising her kids in the ghetto.

Thank you. I try to find new articles on these shows and since it was Black History Month last month, this article came out. I feel sorry for Mabel who thought the show was going to be built around her family and instead it revolved around the guys.
