Sometimes I wonder if Krusty is actually a mobster. He sometimes gives me the impression of a mobster clown(like the Joker). The way he gambles with the other mobsters and one time when Homer was bringing Krusty back his trampoline, he told him to keep on driving or he was going to shoot him.

Hmm ... that would explain a lot ... for instance, why have we NEVER seen
Krusty without his clown makeup on? He must be hiding something.
