Definitely one of the best episodes of the last 4 years; it's the 4th or 5th one produced in season 8 and the last Mike Evans show before his final appearance in the last season. This is the one where George thinks Lionel put faulty wiring into his Brooklyn store causing it to burn down. Aside from a good role for Mike Evans, what stands out is George calling his own child a N-GG--!

Louise's role is relatively minor and Florence isn't in this show. After this an episode with such energy from the performers and no Florence cannot be found.

After Lionel tells George that he didn't burn down the Brooklyn store he gets upset and leaves the apartment. Louise tells George to calm down and George says, "How can I calm down? That N-GG-- burned down my store!"

That was quite a shocking piece of dialogue. The laugh track erupted after he said it. Moments like this were what made this show memorable.

Seems kind of Odd that he would to refer his son in that type of way-lol Now could see if it was Leroy

He was being emotional. Louise called him the N word in the Like Father Like Son episode in year 1. Blazing Jeffersons is a very good show in comparison to what season 8 had to offer. The interchanges between George and Lionel really make the episode and prove that the show could be good without Florence and a lot of Helen Willis, two elements that were overused after that. Tom was fun, Helen wasn't. Florence was OK, but if you notice in the first 7 seasons they could do episodes without her. After she came back in year 8 I don't think she ever missed a show as if to say that she was so vital that they couldn't afford to do without her.
