I heard from my mom that this girl I went to school with died of cancer the other day. She was just 23 years old :crying: :crying: :crying: I lost touch with her over the years, but I'm so sad to hear she's gone. She was such a nice, funny, caring, and smart person. Why is it always the good people who suffer and die young while the jerks and idiots seem to hang around forever and get all the good luck?

Sorry to hear that. I've had a couiple of mine pass away. One from a jet ski accident and the other from sniffing a/c freon. The one in the jet ski accident was in a coma for about 5 years before he passed.

I am sorry to hear that. 23 is very young.I have lost a handful of classmates since my 81 graduation. I just went to a memorial service the other week for one of my former classmates. She was only 42.

I'm sorry to hear your bad news.
I've lost a few classmates over the years. It happens more as you get older, and it's always a lousy feeling -- even if we weren't that friendly with the person.
It makes us think of our carefree teen years, before real life kicked in. It's also a reminder of our own mortality.

Awww, I'm sorry. That's kind of scary when people your own age pass away from cancer.
I think most (if not all) of the classmates I've lost were from auto accidents. A couple of those while we were still in school.
