being the bored person i am, i made an episode guide for season 8(i may have put in too much info) so enjoy!
172. Pole Lox
Doug convinces Carrie to take pole dancing classed but, realizes she’s horrible at it after 2 weeks. Meanwhile Arthur thinks Carrie’s stripper behavior is due to the fact that he wasn’t around much when she was a kid so he takes her out to the circus and ride a mechanical pony. Later, Doug shows Carrie how to pole dance.
173. Vocal Discord
Carrie’s new computer program can record whatever you say and turn it into a transcript. Problem? Doug and Carrie’s arguments get turned into transcripts thanks to the program. They get help from their new neighbor who is a marriage counselor, but things get worse. They argue about many things like not being able to tell chocolate frosting from chocolate fudge frosting and fire (for no reason whatsoever). Meanwhile, Arthur uses the transcripts for a play at the senior citizen center. When Doug and Carrie see the play, they realize their fights are wrong and have a good time.
174. Consummate Professional
It’s been 10 years since Doug started working at IPS. He’s gonna have a party to celebrate but not after having a flashback of him on his 1st day when he lied to Carrie about having a job just so she would sleep with him.
175. Like Hell
When a new guy at work invites everyone except Doug to his BBQ, Doug uses every trick in the book to win his affection. Meanwhile, Carrie finds out she’s not the most liked person at her office so she tries to be nicer to everyone. In the end, they both get restraining orders.
176. Sandwiched Out
At Doug’s favorite hangout, a new sandwich is named “the Deacon”. He gets jealous and wants revenge. Carrie is jealous of Holly when Holly is going to live the good life in Manhattan with her rich fiancé. Everyone says goodbye to Holly.
177. Shear Torture
Doug is getting hair cuts from a hot, new hairdresser and Carrie doesn’t know who it is. Danny accidentally spills about the hairdresser and Carrie goes over to see. Doug ends up seeing her reflection in the mirror at the salon (with an evil glare lol) and at home she forbids him to go back but, the same thing is happening with her and her trainer, Brad. She tells Doug about Brad, the man he doesn’t know about. They decide to get new people to help them instead. Meanwhile, Spence invites Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk) and the original Batman to come to a comic convention with him only to be dumped by both.
178. Inn Escapable
Doug and Carrie go to a slightly weirded out inn and things don’t go as they planned. For instance, the owners put a frozen turkey in the bathtub to thaw out. Doug and Carrie try to escape but a cat from the inn thinks Doug is his owner and chases them leaving Doug back at the inn. Where’s Carrie you ask? She rented a suite and is partying at the Hyatt.
179. Move Doubt
Kelly and Deacon are ready to buy a new house and there is one open right next door to Doug and Carrie. They don’t buy the house but a family with 9 kids move in and it causes Doug and Carrie major problems.
180. G’Night Stalker
When Doug and Carrie go to a karaoke bar, Doug ends up getting a stalker and knows everything about him like where he lives and what shirt he’s wearing. Carrie gets jealous and tries to get a stalker herself. The stalker happens to be Spence and gets Doug, good.
181. Raygin’ Bulls:
Ray Barone is back and he a Doug go out partying while their wives are out. Both of them have no luck with the ladies though. Carrie and Arthur go visit her mother’s grave only to find that Carrie’s name is really Simone (since Arthur lost it in a poker game). He tries again but he loses the name Carrie to get the name Mitch.
182. Baker’s Doesn’t
Doug is manger at his church during Christmas and when he realizes that Carrie isn’t doing her wifely duties, he asks her to bake a cake for the bake sale. She tries to bake a cake but she can’t fold an egg (claims its witchcraft) and she can’t make rum cake (she got so nervous she drank out the rum). So, Doug has the idea of putting frosting on a couch pillow but, his plan fails when someone finds out.
183. Fresh Brood
Doug wants to prove to Carrie that they’re ready to have a baby. So he borrows a baby from Danny to prove it to her. She starts to get annoyed by the baby but she enjoys the baby at the end. But, Doug has a problem letting go of the baby when she has to leave.
184. Gamblin’ Diction
When Doug finds out his mother is good at Texas Hold ‘Em, he uses her in a poker tournament to win easy money. Carrie on the other hand looses her accent with Spence’s help to a get a promotion at her work place. Can she do it when Doug’s mom has the same accent? She later messes up at the interview when one of her bosses has a Virginian accent which pisses her off.
185. Apartment Complex
When Carrie is preparing for her newest client, Kirstie Alley, Doug gets in the way when he and his buddies play poker so, they rent an apartment which Doug eventually uses as a get-away pad. But in order to make money for it, he must work in the restaurant below. Meanwhile, Kirstie makes Carrie eat a lot of junk food claiming she “eats” through people. Carrie eventually finds out about Doug’s get-away pad and uses it to get away from Kirstie.
186. Buggie Nights
Arthur brings back infested sheets from a motel, and Doug and Carrie have them now. They need to stay somewhere overnight so Doug tries Deacon’s but Kelly doesn’t want them near the kids since Carrie called her and warned her. The next day at work thanks to Doug message, everyone avoids Carrie at work. The next night they try the back of their car but, it doesn’t work so they stay out all night watching Indian movies, pitching quarters in the back of the restaurant, or drinking all night. A couple asks them if they want to join them in the hot tub but decline. Meanwhile Spence and Danny try to find a vacation spot but, wrestle over it. They take Doug and Carrie’s bait and go to the infested motel Arthur was before and Doug and Carrie get to sleep in the apartment.
