This isn't really a trading post but I'm just curious, and maybe some of you know. Someone mentioned that the unaired episodes of Push, Nevada (which I guess would explain the mystery of what's going on in the series) were never filmed and don't exist. Anyone confirm or deny this?

Not that I'm especially eager to get them, just would like to know what the big mystery was. Who were the people in Push, NV and what was the town's big conspiracy all about?

Guess we'll never know...

Speaking of which -- did Manny Coto ever explain what was going on in Odyssey 5? Loved that series but never knew what was really going on when they pulled that switcheroo in the last (unaired) episodes that only showed up in Britain. In that last episode that aired on Sky One in Britain, where did those AI-things come from that erupted from the rocks on Mars and took people over? I thought the AIs were created on earth...but then these things from Mars show up and who knows what-all is going on. Anyone know?

I'd just like to know what the big secret plot points in both those series actually were. Did the Odyssey 5 AIs start on earth, or on Mars, or what? Were the guys in Push NV mafia, or Soviet agents, or what? Kills me that they set up these big deep dark mysteries...and then the networks cancelled the shows so we never find out what was really going on!!!!!! Aaaahhhhhhh!!!!!

The new AI came from moon rocks. The inner sanctum of NASA knew about it and wanted to have only non-manned space exploration missions. They were different then the AI on Earth.

The alien who sent them back was a AI created to search for intelligent life. He said in the pilot that every time he followed radio waves to explore that by the time he got there the planet had been destroyed with no survivors- this had happened over 50 times. The Odyssey 5 group was the first time he had ever found survivors or human life. He sent them back or their conciousness back 5 years to stop the destruction of the Earth.

My wife and I were really POed bigtime at Showtime for cancelling the show. It was a great show, I have no idea why they keep Jerimiah on and cancelled Odyssey 5. Showtime just decided to do away with their Sci-fi Friday program and started replacing them with shows like queerFolks.

About Push Nevada. First off, the "finale" is CLEARLY not the final episode. Second, before ABC ****canned it, they had scheduals for 4 more episodes (I work at an ABC station) in the master control log, then the "finale" was announced and those listings vanished. While I can not confirm there are 4 unaired episodes, I strongly assume these to exist but I think only Affleck and Damon could say for sure.

I helped make the Odyssey 5 set. It took three different sets to get a working set. That was such a great show-NOW- I really do hate Showtime. Replacing great shows with crap. I tried to give QueerFolk and some of the other shows a chance, but just couldn't stomach it.

I'm not anti-gay, but some of the stuff was just too much! It did to gays what Ally McBeal did to working women, which I don't think was very positive! Scared the hell out of me!

Of course now that I think of it Ally McBeal wasn't too flattering to men or attorneys either!

Ally McBeal at the time, it was one of those "chick" shows that my wife liked, HOWEVER when i catch an episode now, its much better then it was back then

Queer as Folk---- i watched like 2 episodes once, and didnt like it one bit
it was not interesting, and i dont see why it would be popular with the gay community as it was not even very flattering to that group either, i just thought it was a bad show, all the way around :D
