I'd never heard of this Britcom, but received it in a trade...what a riot! (Ok, maybe not as funny as Savages Silly Rabbit clips, but hey, this is BRITISH humor!)

I'm a big fan of this show, Bill Bailley is a riot. I've got other British stuff similar to it, check my list if your interested.

I'm new to most British shows (except of course, Monty Python & Benny Hill.) What shows are similar to Black Books? I also have (non-comedy) Sapphire & Steel (complete) and Twisted Tales (complete). Twisted Tales is another series I really enjoy. I"m currently recording Hustle (with Robert Vaughn) - very much like Mission Impossible in 2006. Do you have Hustle?

It's pretty neat (IMO) that both Robert Vaughn & David McCallum are both currently in tv series.

It is pretty cool to see those two together, but it hasn't really been a big hit over here. I think it's because there are just so many successful Brit dramas about just now, like 'life on mars' rosmary and thyme' deizel and pasco' ' and my fav 'sea of soles' which I have in UK retail. The things I have that you may enjoy are; Little Britain - complete collection (uk retail) this is the most popular skit show in Britain at the moment - totally outragous: Ideal (uk retail) if you liked twisted tales and black books, then you'll love this. It stars johnny vegas- an excellent over the top comedian, and it is a halarious dark comedy, but definately for adults only: 18 Stone of Idiot - I recorded and compiled this one myself, and I think I'm the only one on the board who has it. It is a six 1hr episode entertainment show like also staring Johnny Vegas. He created it with the intesion of making a show that would be so outragous, they would never recomission it or show it again, it worked! It's real funny, but talk about pushing the boundaries!: Dinner Ladies - I taped this back in the 90's, a real funny sitcom starring Victoria Wood that had a real cult following: Randall and Hopkirk Deceased - A successful 2001 remake staring vic and bob: Two ronnies vol 1 and 2 (uk retail) Probably the most loved classic comedy duo ever in the UK: Bad Girls (complete uk retail) Britain's most successful prison drama.
I have the complete collection of all of these unless otherwise stated. If you want to know more about any of them, just ask, or pm or email me

Cheers
