I noticed that Showtime Family and Flix movie channels are showing the film "Cold Turkey" this month. Dick Van Dyke plays a minister who tries to get his entire town to quit smoking (I think it's for a year) to win money.

I haven't seen this movie in a long time but remember that it's very funny. If you subscribe to either of these channels, check it out.

"Cold Turkey" was filmed in 1969, but went unreleased until two years later (probably due to the fact that Dick's 1969 UA release, "Some Kind Of Nut", didn't do that well at the box office, as did "The Comic" for another studio). It was also Norman Lear & Bud Yorkin's final theatrical project before they went into TV full-time [beginning with "ALL IN THE FAMILY"].
