More info on Phillip Macri, the kid who was paralyzed in 1988 in a diving accident at Virginia Beach. He lives about 30 miles North of me.

Good article. It's nice to know what Phil has been up to of late.
When his story aired during the show's 1992-93 season, I was hopeful that Phil would find his savior. But considering how little was known about her, it was amazing that it was solved as quickly as it was.
However, I was admittedly surprised that the woman, Linda Potts, turned out to be in her 40s. As you'll recall, Phil's then-unknown savior was played by a young woman who appeared to be twentysomething. So I expected it to be younger woman, based on the reenactment. Then again, as I noted before, not much was known about her at the time.
In any case, what matters is that Phil's goal of finding the good samaritan was obtained. :)

Thanks for the update: happy to hear his life turned out so well. I really hope that the new UM will feature more of these types of cases as it's a welcome break from all the murders and criminals.
