I guess she seen how Clair controls her father and felt that it was normal for a female to be in control. And Clair had the nerve to ask her-"why were you doing that? Like she didn;t know-lol

View Full Version : Rudy was just acting like her mother when she was bossing KENNY around-LOL TVFactFan 03-01-2006, 03:53 PM I guess she seen how Clair controls her father and felt that it was normal for a female to be in control. And Clair had the nerve to ask her-"why were you doing that? Like she didn;t know-lol Mr. Television 03-01-2006, 05:14 PM Clair's nose was so far up in the air that she had no clue. GCW 03-01-2006, 05:52 PM You know I never thought about that, very good point. Ireneparalegal 03-01-2006, 10:30 PM Clair's nose was so far up in the air that she had no clue. You are sooooo right on abt this Solomon... and yes, she had no clue whatsoever...or, she was playing dumb, cuz she knew exactly where that attitude came from. It was typical of this show to add another stupid "man" into the script. Peter was smart, because he never talked. Or maybe because he was scared to open his mouth because Rudy was so bossy. If he was on an episode, I looked forward to watching it. Furienna 02-09-2007, 12:52 PM How true. TVFactFan 02-09-2007, 08:12 PM How true. You replied to a year old thread just to say-"HOW TRUE" You don't see anything ODD about that? Ireneparalegal 02-09-2007, 10:12 PM I think the poster is saying HOW TRUE to all the posts here. I was listening to the radio today and the men on there were saying that they aren't bothered by powerful women or women "in charge" at home, but there are times when a man needs to "be a man" and not be talked down to, treated like a child, not talked to like they are dumb, etc. Immediately I thought of Claire! Furienna 02-10-2007, 10:57 PM You replied to a year old thread just to say-"HOW TRUE" You don't see anything ODD about that? So why do you reply to me saying that? Wasn't that pointless? Maybe I was just trying to bump this thread up? TVFactFan 02-10-2007, 11:06 PM So why do you reply to me saying that? Wasn't that pointless? Maybe I was just trying to bump this thread up? Because usually when someone bumps up an old thread they are adding to the discussion. Brian Damage 02-10-2007, 11:27 PM Rudy was definitely controlling and it probably had everything to do with Claire. She was a very strong woman. Then again, look at Denise. Now that was a GOOFY woman, probably took after Cliff. Ireneparalegal 02-10-2007, 11:30 PM Rudy was definitely controlling and it probably had everything to do with Claire. She was a very strong woman. Then again, look at Denise. Now that was a GOOFY woman, probably took after Cliff. I would never take away from the fact that Claire was a head strong lady, very much in control of things (in a good way), very smart and elegant. However, that is great when it comes to one's profession and running the household, not treating the ones you love. She loved Cliff, but didn't need to be bossy abt certain things. Rudy obviously caught on to this and was headed in that direction. That Denise comment of yours had me  |
