missed work/school in a row? meaning how many days in a row have you missed it? i've missed 3 days this week of school (because of a flu) and i went on vacation for a week once to Disneyworld.

Just eight days of work during my last three European trips.

Longest I missed work was when i was on vaction in December for Christmas...

When I had chickenpox as a child. Missed a whole week.

missed two weeks of school when i was in the 4th grade. I had a terrible flu.

4 days

I missed 10 days of school in a row once in Middle school. Not because I was sick, I just didn't want to go.

6 days

I was out a Friday and all of the following week because of severe bronchitis.

Two weeks last year when I had a bad cold.

I've missed 8 weeks from work, I had a baby

2 weeks when my grandfather died

4 days i think

During my junior year of high school I had food poisoning and I was out of school for nearly two weeks.

I missed 2 weeks because I had chicken pox.

Probably 3 in a row. This year, I got sick the night before the first day of school after winter break and I missed three days after that.

probably like 4 or 5 days in grade school when i got really bad strept throat all the time. and i was in the hospital over the summer a few times because i had some kind of really twisted throat infection.

two weeks

missed 1/2 of 4th & 6th grade.
missed about 60 days of 5th grade.
about 35 days of 7th grade.


bad health problems.

When I had chicken pox, I missed 7 months of school in a row.

Recently, only three days. But I missed like two weeks in kindergarten cuz I caught the chicken pox.

i was suspended/expelled for about 4-1/2 weeks in the 10th grade, and when they caught me hanging out with friends at a different school during the suspension (by the Vice Principal, who tried to suspend me for 3 days so i had to tell him that i wasn't a student there) i got in even MORE trouble. I had to appeal to the district school board to get back in, i was lucky that most of my teachers liked me and i was one of the top students acedemically.

...and i STILL say i didn't really even do anything :)

4.5 days in 7th grade for some terrible cold/flu thing. Don't think I've missed anything longer than that.

3 and that is now, I have been very sick and have not been to school since Wednesday. I am feeling a little better now though.

I only missed a few days of elementary school, never missed any whole days from work, just an hour here or there. I have taken only 1 week of vacation in 12 years, that was due to a car accident. Right now I am fighting "degenerative disc disease", that is total hell sometimes. But continuing to work helps take my mind off of it a tiny bit, but now that everyday tasks are getting harder & harder who knows.............I may need to do back surgery soon, if so I will be out of work for about 1-2 months. I don't know if I could stand that!

Edited: now that I am thinking about it, I have decided to take tomorrow off. To hell with my clients, I NEED a break too!!!!!!!!

Sometimes I wonder how I keep my sanity?, I am so looking forward to a 4-day weekend.
