How do you take care of your stress? I like to read and get lost in the book and it works great. I do not face realty for a little while. It makes me feel like I have no bills to pay at that time and so on. I like relieving stress that way.:stressed:

I do read sometimes or listen to good music or take a walk. I'm thinking about learning tai chi. At work I go sit in my truck to get away for awhile.

Work out, go for a walk, take a hot shower, sleep, and if it's really really bad, I cry. (but not too often, so don't laugh.)

I have two hobbies, I knit and I LOVE to glue rhinstones on things, Last week I glued rhinstones on my cell phone LOL. I've glues them on my daughter's Jean jackets and pants. One is 2 and the other is 5 months so they have matching jean jackets and pants. I've glued them on boxes, I've Bedazzled my jeans, shirts, belts. It's become an addiction I think LOL. So those two things relieve my stress, it takes my mind off of things.

Thanks!! :) If I ever mentioned anything about crying in my house, I get mocked, and laughed at. It's good to know that most of the people here at S.O. aren't like that.

Well...I don't think I've ever known a time with absolutely no stress...which is sad. But when it gets really bad, I have to distract myself. Complaining on the internet...watching TV...talking to someone. Listening to music isn't a big enough distraction.

If I am feeling stressed out (which is becoming more often these days), I tend to start shutting down from those around me. This way I won't say or do anything that I would regret, plus spending time on my hobbies is good too. I enjoy computer work, photography, music, and being a farm animals advocate (which can be somewhat stressful too, but the enjoyment that you get back by helping more than makes up for it).

Stress is known to be one of the biggest contributors to heart disease, etc., be careful and slow down the pace of life.
