I was wondering if everyone would please keep my mother and my family in your thoughts.

My mother found out today that she has a blood clot in her leg. It has me worried. :( I had a friend who died in 1999 from a blood clot in her leg. This is the second blood clot that I know of that my mother has had. About 5-6 years ago my mother had a blood clot in her leg. She had to end up having surgery. They had to remove the blood clot along with a blood vessel. The hope was that she wouldn't have another blood clot. The one she has isn't in the same spot in her leg, but it is in the same leg. A blood clot in general can be very serious and even fatal if it moves towards your lungs or heart. She has to go in for a test Thursday afternoon. She will probably have to be put back on blood thinners like she was on before. Even though they have bad side effects such as bleeding easily. She has high blood pressure which I'm sure doesn't help the situation at all. She's more prone to getting blood clots because she has an unusual form of Lupus. She's only 46 & 1/2 years old.

Anyway, I would really appreciate it if anyone could please say a few prayers, thanks.

I'm sorry to hear. I will send good thoughts your way. I fear I am also going to go through a blood clot sometime because I didn't really move my legs around enough during my overseas flight this past October. Anyway, sending good thoughts to you....
