Sanford and Son and All In The Family.

Lamont may have been in the junk business but I don't think he should have been that desperate for trying to steal items from Archie. That is like totally out of character, I think, for Lamont.

Originally, not now. In the 70s they weren't on the same network.

The last episode of Wait Till Your Father Gets Home had Gunther Toody from Car 54 Where are You voiced by Joe E Ross. Ross was doing voice work for Hanna-Barbera at the time.

You do those shows were on Different NetworksCrossovers between rival networks do sometimes happen. Ally McBeal on FOX had a crossover with The Practice on ABC. Here in Indiana we didn't observe daylight savings time yet. The three hour networks were on central time but FOX stayed on eastern time. So both parts of the crossover aired at the same time here.

One TGIF show was a white family living in California and the other TGIF show was a black family living in Chicago. So it was kind of odd

Both shows are about families so why is that odd to you?

Mister Ed's "Love and the Single Horse" has Irene Ryan in a strange cameo where she is dressed and acts as Granny Clampett but the character isn't identified in either the show or the credits.

Then Step by Step premiered in 1991 by being aired right after Family Matters for 1991-1992 and 1992-1993 seasons on Friday nights following Full House’s move to Tuesday nights

The character of Murphy Brown appears on Seinfeld and interacts with a Seinfeld character. What do you call it?

I’d say it’s when characters from one show appear on a different show.

You can say 2 different networks make it “odd”, thus fitting your thread title perfectly.
