In the end, when the Jeffersons and Florence arrive in California to buy the mantion, they live in California now right? So from their show, "The Jeffersons", they dont live in the apartment anymore since they moved to Belair in California?

I would say the producers and writers did that to pay homage to The Jeffersons as the longest running black sitcom. The series ended abruptly in 1985 and no closure was given. Luckily, it didnt have a cliffhanger like Moesha.

The series finale was kind of sad. i wish they stayed for another year.

I thought a spin-off focusing more on Will & Jazz sharing an apartment would have been interesting! Then it would have been good if Will's mom & John Amos, & Lisa all became regulars.. I think that would have been an interesting spin-off. Too bad Will Smith & Nia Long were too busy doing movies after that!

I would have preferred a Will and Carlton spinoff
