The list of the touching moments that you selected are excellent. I thought back to those moments and was like "wow". Rachel's return really stood out to me. We never knew what happened to Rachel. All we knew that she was still living with the Winslows but no longer appeared after 1995. Telma Hopkins doing the cameo on the last season was something that I was not expecting. Do you realize that she is not mentioned for 2 years? I thought that it was great that the writer and producers got her to come back so we, the Rachel fans get some closure. It was a terrific moment.

yes me too. It still comes on. That was one of my favorite shows at the time. I just wish that "My Brother & Me" would have lasted as long as Family Matters:confused: . Those types of shows were a great example for black family. Not the ghetto crap today:mad: . Anywho I loved this show;)

Those types of shows were a great example for black families; Our love and compasion for our loved ones, also our kindness & generosity towards others. Not the ghetto crap that is supposed to define black families all over right now :ufo: . Family shows are just not the same anymore:confused:. I blame BET & UPN:mad: . Anywho I loved The Family Matters show a bunch;)

All of them. I would just add the episode where Steve goes off to college and misses the Winslows, and Carl shows up at his college and Steve is so happy to see him. That was very touching.

Actually, that was the mother of the victim. That was so sad and touching for me.

No, I believe it was the widow who was at the grave site with Carl. But yeah I think that's the most touching episode.

It was the widow of the victim. I agree, touching (or "touchable"?) episode. That and the quilt one were very good. The racial episode when Mother Winslow tells the story about how she got her first library card was also touching.

Not in any kind of order, but my personal favorite episodes of Family Matters are:

It's Halloween and Steve and Laura are at a bank. The bank gets held up. Carl Winslow saves the day (night.)

When Steve accidentally burns down the restaurant that he and Laura work at. Eventually, the restaurant is renovated and Rachel becomes the owner of Rachel's Place.

When Harriet and Rachel meet their father.

When Mother Winslow tells Laura about how she finally got a library card as a kid.

When Carl gets Eddie a police car to be Eddie's first car. They paint it and put a cool sound system inside.

Many more! :)

How about the episode where Laura is accepted to Harvard, only to know that her parents probably don't have the money to send her there? I remember the scene with Laura alone crying toward the end, just before she said she could go somewhere close to home.

Yes, it is.

Wasn't there also an episode, where Eddy was harassed by a racistic policeman?

What about the episode where Steve wants to go to the school dance with Laura but lets a guy name Ted take her instead?

Another episode err 2 of them, when Steve saves Carl when they are both in the Hopsital by hitting the bad guy over the head with a bed pan.

When Carl saves Steve's life at the hotel when the bad guy came in to kill Steve.
