I just struck up a trade for the 1990 'THRILLER"


now I am very familiar with the 1960's Boris Karloff presents thriller- Love the series - so when I saw 1990 'Thriller"
on a favorite traders list- I had to get it.


But I wanted to read up on it, before it gets here- and I can't find a thing on it

Now you've piqued my interest. AFAIK there were 2 TV series called "Thriller" -- the classic 1960-62 B&W series on NBC hosted by Boris Karloff...and the later color British 1973-1976 anthology series produced by Brian Clemens, of The Avengers and The New Avengers fame.

Was there a 1990 TV series called Thriller? If so, I can't find any info about it online. The 60s and 70s series are the only 2 episodic TV shows to my knowedge that were called "Thriller." There was "Cliffhangers..." by Kenneth Johnson in 1980...but that was a different animal.
You don't by any chance mean the 1977-78 BBC TV series 1990 starring Edward Woodward, do you? "1990" was actually the title of that particular British series.

What I was told by someone else whom has this show today wsa that the 1990 thriller is in fact the earlier one, but the remastered it- put them in order and relased it retail.

Which is kinda cool.

I have the original set on 20 dvds i think, so they are vhs to dvd- so a nicer tighter, clean set would be very cool since I am a die hard karloff fan.

ill update the baord either way as I am getting them sometime this week from a reliable trader.

Now if only they would release tales form the darkside, and a few other classics- liek Monsters, and Dark Room and.....
