Could you all please say a prayer for my Dad. He's been sick the last few days. He was coughing and weezing and having a hard time walking. He finally went to the Emergency Room ( We tried to get him to go earlier but he wouldn't listen), anyhow they're running tests on him and they think their might be something wrong with his heart. It could also be lamonia but I'm really worried. I think I'll lose it if something happens to him. :(

Thanks everyone. :) They let him go home but he has to use an Oxygen tank. They now think its probably a very bad inner cold. At least nothing was wrong with his heart. That scared me half to death when I heard that.

Sorry to hear about your father Sonny.

My father also used oxygen in the home. Just as long as he posts he's using it he'll be okay.

Hope all goes well for you and the family and of course your father.

Sonny, how is your dad doing? Better I hope.
He's been getting a lot of rest the last couple days and the oxygen tank is helping .He seems to be breathing better although he still has the cough. I know he's been sleeping in his chair because when he lays down he starts to cough. He had a doctor's appointment yesterday and they want to see him again Friday. They have him taking a whole bunch of different medicines too. I'll keep you guys updated on how he's doing. I'll be glad when he doesn't have to use that tank. It doesn't look good on him but it is helping him.

I'm really happy to hear that your father is doing so much better.
I forgot to mention the other day that my boyfriend's father has the oxygen tank also and will probably have it for a very long time. He came very close to dying last year in September because his one lung collapsed.
Now, he goes to see many doctors every month for a check up and everything. He will never be the same again but at least he's still around.

That is awful. I'm so sorry. :( My Mom died a little over 3 years ago and one of the things that was wrong with her was that she had a hard time breathing and she just wouldn't go to see a doctor. That was one reason this scared me so much. It was like history repeating itself. The Oxygen tanks sure did help and I'm glad your boyfriend's father is still around. Sometimes I think we all just take life for granted until something real bad happens.
