This film will shatter every stereotype you've ever had about what it's like to be handicapped. It's the story of three quadriplegics who get into armored wheelchairs to play the no-holds-barred, violent game of wheelchair rugby. The three are Joe Soares, who was crippled by childhood polio; Mark Zupan, who was disabled after a drunken driving accident; and Keith Cavill, who was injured in a motocross mishap. Cameras follow the men into the locker rooms, arenas, bedrooms, hospitals, and hotels where they live and play and show how they rebuilt their lives and refused to give in
to self-pity even after their bodies had been crushed. (2005)
