I noticed that too! What's so hard about that name? I see it misspelled all the time. Isn't also weird that he calls it one of BW's few TV appearances? (He missed Mad About You.) Seems like he's been on TV a lot to me! This one should be good. I loved Bandits!

I'm definitely setting my VCR/DVD recorder for Monday night's appearance. It sounds like great fun. Bandits is one of my favorite BW films.

I think that the Shepherd-Shepard mix-up comes from Sam Shepard, the actor/playwright.

it's absolutely weird they misspell it. It's so easy! Even one of my Moonlighting tapes says Cybil Shepard or something, can't look it up, tape is somewhere else.

This is for everyone in the UK.The Late Show With David Letterman appearance of Bruce on the 27th of Feb in the US is shown over here on ITV4 on Wednesday 29th of Feb at 12:55pm,but you can only get that channel if you have satelite or cable or freeview. So if you have got any of those then remember to set your VCRs .

Darn it, I missed the GMA appearance.
It was on when I was taking my kids to school.

Comedy Central - Bandits
I was disappointed. BW hosted it, but it wasn't live. Basically it was an interview that they showed clips of occasionally when Bandits would start up again following a commercial. I thought BW was going to talk straight into the camera, maybe have others to play off of, talk about Bandits AND 16 Blocks. He simply promoted 16 Blocks. I know, I know - that's his job this week - I just wanted more. He wore what he wore on the press junket - 16 Blocks baseball cap and Kyoto t-shirt so I guess all of his press stuff was done on the same day. Bandits had some editing, but I still enjoyed watching it. I just wish that Bruce had been in the studio.

Bruce Willis on David Letterman
This was fun. I enjoyed it tremendously.
Interesting things:
The "I Love Lucy" theme was played by Paul and the band. Anything with Lucy reminds me of David/Maddie and/or Bruce/Cybill.
There was a poster of Rita Hayworth on the wall and I think she is wearing the same neglige that Cybill wore in Dream Sequence. Remember that Orson Welles (a friend of Cy's) let Cybill wear Rita's neglige.

Bruce came out with half of his face bloody and covered in buckshot. It was a take-off on our vice-president shooting his lawyer friend in the face during their hunting trip. The top of BW's head was covered with band-aids (under his 16 Blocks baseball cap). The joke consisted of Bruce talking about a bunch of politicians/friends getting drunk by drinking Jack Daniels, and then deciding to go hunting for rhinos, moose and QUAILS! It was really funny. David and Bruce work well together - Bruce is a great guest for David because Bruce is always so prepared.
They talked about Rumer's upcoming graduation, her GPA of 3.6 or so and Bruce's GPA of .002 or so. Bruce said he had to pay someone in the mob $50 in order to graduate etc.
They talked about Bruce being an interpreter/entrepreneur. KingB's latest business is speech-writing for award show nominees. They showed a fake ad in Variety, and then Bruce gave some examples of speeches that winners can buy from him.
Film clip: This was really funny -- they showed a clip of Bruce's appearance on Miami Vice 22 years ago. Bruce is having a fight with a woman by a pool, he pushes her into the pool fully dressed, and then they cut to Don Johnson's face -- he says "This guy's scum." It was hilarious. I'll simply say that Bruce's performance was quite energetic. Bruce mentioned that he still has nightmares about Miami Vice.
Halle Berry - David asked Bruce about Halle. He said that she's so beautiful and sweet - and that she has a boyfriend. He also said "What a dish" about Halle. That sure sounds familiar.;)
16 Blocks - they showed a clip of Bruce and Mos Def on a subway. Bruce did mention Moonlighting because he said that he and Mos Def had a great chemistry similar to what was on Moonlighting. He did not mention Cybill by name. I thought it was odd because when I think of chemistry, I think of sexual chemistry added iinto it and it seemed odd to talk about chemistry with two men.

I love Bruce and David -- I can watch the interview over and over again.

kismet
02-28-2006, 10:53 AM
Added thoughts -- BW looked more muscular than he has been looking. I personally like him better with some meat on his bones. He definitely looked bigger than his appearance on the season 3 Moonlighting commentary IMO.
He wore a short black leather jacket, 16 Blocks baseball cap, light jeans, and a Triumph t-shirt.
The 16 Blocks NYC premiere must have been after his Letterman appearance. Pics are available at WireImage and Rex - I couldn't get into Getty.

02-28-2006, 12:33 PM
Yes David Letterman was funny. Bruce is always the comdeian on his show . Again he looked FINE! He hasn't aged at all. He has been saying that about the chemistry being alike with ML on other things this week too. Maybe GMA is where he said it also and he elaberated that it is similar with the comedy and butting heads aspect that was the same chemistry wise. Men can have chemistry with other men. I am an ANGEL fan and my best friend and i would say all the time that David Boreanaz and James Marsters on that show had amazing chemistry together. I am going to see 16 Blocks in 2 weeks will report back on it. If anyone else sees it before please report back.
Also was Bruce alone at the premiere? Rumour has it according to some paper this week he is seeing that girl model Petra who was in the Tsunami accident last year. Her people deny it, his people say it's true. She like 24 i think.

Ro35 - don't take me the wrong way -- I thought he looked great also. It's just that for the past couple of years, sometimes he looked a little gaunt, particulary following Tears of the Sun. I like him better with some muscle.

I loved the reference he made about looking at Halle through a pinprick in a piece of paper. He obviously stole that from "The Bride of Tupperman." Bruce had Moonlighting on the brain.

HEY Kismet, No you are right. He is looking the best in the past few years right now. He does look like he put on some weight and it looks good on him. I did love him in Tears Of the Sun. It was a good movie.
Just saw a quick minute of TRL . I am taping it and just had to peek. My hubby wanted to watch GH and was like aren't you taping this upstairs? LOL Bruce looked good again.

TRL was fun.
BW wore a longer black leather jacket, dark jeans, black and white shirt.
The show was youthful and fun.
No mention of Moonlighting though. Darn it!
He mentioned that he had to gain 35 pounds for the role of Jack Mosley. That's a lot of weight.
Some of his favorite films: Raging Bull, Dr. Strangelove
He mentioned the actress Rachel McAdams - I think she was the blonde in Mean Girls.

Can`t wait untill Letterman`s repeated over here on Wednesday,it`s a rare treat to see Bruce orCybill on tv in the uk lately as they don`t seem to get as much media coverage as they used to.

Anyone who missed any of the appearances I'm copying them onto a dvd and can ship them out (even outside the U.S) to anyone who wants them or didn't get to see them. It's a region free dvd, for just a fee to cover my costs. I do a lot of tv show tape trading so I'm at the post office a lot anyway.
Just email me if you are interested. email link is on the front page of my website

Conan O'Brien:
Bruce looked like he came from TRL straight to Conan's show. He wore the same outfit. BW was on TRL from 3:30 until at least 4:00pm so he probably had to go right over to NBC since they tape around 5:30pm, don't they?. This time, he and Conan did not get nekkid. Sorry Laura.
KingB used the audience applause button as an added joke so that clapping and laughs were more exuberant. I think that it was a good idea. Conan had been on hiatus due to the Olympics so he hadn't done a show in a couple of weeks (he doesn't film on Mondays). They showed a clip of 16 Blocks, talked about Halle Berry and that was about it.

CBS Morning Show:
This morning, BW and David Morse actually appeared. It was not an appearance from the press junket. It was a fun interview. A black leather jacket has become his staple. David Morse mentioned that Bruce had been very kind to his kids when they came to the movie premiere on Monday so that was a nice moment.

I did. It wasn't much. They asked him (something like) what football player he compares himself to. He said Jerome Bettis of the Steelers. Then they asked him about the T.O. controversy in Philadelphia since he's an Eagles fan. He bascially said he's a waste of talent. That was pretty much it. Kind of disappointing, I thought.

The View

Bw was on The View today. I loved this interview. BUT no mention of Moonlighting. Sorry.

I'm pretty sure it was pre-taped because no new topics were talked about by the 5 women during the intro. I think it may have been taped after the CBS Morning Show interview (so maybe Thursday???) because it looked like he was wearing the same outfit minus the black leather jacket, but I'm only guessing.

What I liked so much about BW today was that he was so relaxed, as cute as a button, and not worn out. The last two times on The View, he mumbled and seemed exhausted. Today, he looked so happy and upbeat. He seems EXTREMELY happy, flashing that David Addison smile that makes us all melt. I think that is why I liked the David Letterman interview so much this time also - because he gave that great, infectious smile of his a couple of times.

No other cast members joined him so both of the segments had only him.
Some topics: 16 Blocks or course, Mos Def and chemistry, his 3 daughters with Demi and how they want to appear in movies and go to college, dating, being in good shape, and pregnancy. His size was brought up by Joy - she said that he is such a tall and macho guy!!! He looked gooooooooood.

I liked him today - that sounds weird, but I did. There have been times in the past couple of years that he seemed like he didn't care so therefore I didn't care -- but today, he reminded me of a nice, funny guy. I guess today he reminded me of David Addison/Bruce Willis

Oh great review Kismet, i only wish us poor souls in the the UK could have seen it .Are there any sites with clips on that we can see. And your`e so right about that smile of his.I was reading an article in the paper the other day and it said that the things that women look for in a guy and what makes a guy attractive is first his eyes and second his smile , so no wonder we all fancy the pants off Bruce!:D :happyface

The View is an ABC daytime show with Barbara Walters as one of the hosts, so maybe if you go to ABC's home page, there might be a clip available.

That man was FINE today.:D

My daughter wants to see 16 Blocks so I will probably see it this weekend with her. She watches Die Hard I repeatedly. Just the mention of his name brings a big smile to her face (she's handicapped and I think she has a major crush on KingB).

My daughter and I saw 16 Blocks last night. It was really good. I enjoyed it.
Bruce is almost unrecognizeable in this one. He kind of looks like a Dennis Franz type cop from N.Y.P.D Blues. Bruce did a terrific job. Mos Def did a great job also. I was surprised - he's a real likeable guy. BUT David Morse was really, really good. I forgot how much I liked him as an actor until I saw this movie. The movie was full of action, but it made you think also - much deeper than a regular action movie.

I liked the last scene. I won't give the ending away though.

They played great music with the final credits -- Barry White singing "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Baby" as I recall. It left me feeling goooooood when I left the theatre.

16 Blocks hasn`t even got a release date here in the UK yet but i am trying to persuade hubby into coming along with me to see Lucky Number Slevin which funnily enough came out over here on March 3rd the same release date as 16 Blocks had in the US.I also noticed that while i was at the cinema yesterday evening(hubby and I took the children to see Chicken Little) anyway during the trailers it announced that Over The Hedge was `coming soon `to cinemas which Bruce does a voice over for one of the characters of course. I think i might be taking the kids to the movies again by the looks of it!

Kismet I saw 16 Blocks last weekend and really enjoyed it. My husband wasn't really interested in watching it but went with me anyway and he ended up really loving it. Hi! Just thought I would post that I saw LUCKY NUMBER SLEVIN last night finally in
case anyone was interested. I was really surprised that I liked it as much as I

isn't in it a lot. Mainly Josh Hartnett , who really is a cutie :) Bruce
was really good in it as always JMO :) Josh Hartnett was good. The whole cast
was pretty good. It definitely had a surprising twist at the end. It was
definitely worth going to see. It does have a lot of violence in case it's not

Yes i saw him on DL. He looked amazing:) I think he just gets better with age. Like a fine wine LOL
He talked about the movie a bit and they showed a clip and he did a spoof on David Blaine and submerged himself in water for 20 seconds. He came out tied up in chains to get in the water. He also showed off a new gadget he was putting out that was supposed be like vacume but it didn't work. Of course it was a joke. You know he was his silly self. He mentioned Rumer is graduating high school. Can't think of anything else right now. But damn i missed TRL!

Sorry to hear that Tamm , i know i was gutted when i missed him the last time on Letterman but i did manage to catch him this time yey! and i taped it too! (double yey! ) Bruce is always funny on Letterman. I especaily liked the the gadget thing when it rolled off the stage. And when Bruce was doing his David Blaine send up and was making those funny noises when preparing to go under the water. Hilarious!

Shame Bruce wasn`t on for longer though , i would have liked it if Bruce had taken up all the show . I never get tired of watching him on - screen

Don`t know if anyone`s interested! (silly question i know) but i just had this Bruce Willis interview link sent to my email via google so i`d thought i would share it with you guys .http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/05/22/earlyshow/leisure/boxoffice/main1639587.shtml
It`s a really good interview too Bruce talks about Over The Hedge and how he tapped into David Addison to get the character of the raccoon, he also said that he MISSES doing David and that he really enjoyed playing that character!
Could that be Bruce`s subtly way of saying that he is ready to resurrect David Addison and a Moonlighting reunion?

He was on the VIEW today and it was new. I haven't had a chance to watch it all(busy with my kids in their little pool) but what i saw is real good and funny. I will report on it later unless someone else saw it and does it first.

He looked good, in a black leather jacket. He said he tapped into David Addision for RJ, the raccoon in Over the Hedge. (I saw it, and I hear David for sure!) They played a clip from the movie, showed a picture of his girls and talked about them a bit and also Die Hard 4. It was good!

This will probably only apply to all us UK fans out there. If any of you have NTL or TELEWEST or SKY and receive the channel called EAT CINEMA ( which is on 199 on SKY) then tune in tonight at 930pm(GMT) because Bruce is on a programme called BRUCE WILLIS - SHOOTOUT , it`s all about different Hollywood stars that come on the show and talk about what matters in Hollywood and also discuss their own careers too. He talks about the Die Hard films and about Die Hard 4 and some of his other films too. Moonlighting also gets talked about as well ( from what i can gather this must have been filmed just before the release of Season 1& 2 of Moonlighting because Bruce mentions that he has just finished diong the commentaries for them , he was also asked if he would ever go back and do Moonlighting again and he said NO!but bare in mind folks that this was his view BEFORE he had got back together with Cybill to do the commentary and interview on the season 3 Dvds.
Anyway tune in tonight and watch it for your selves , its worth watching.

Hi ,this week is turning into a real Bruce Willis feast for all us UK fans . I have just read in todays tv guide that Bruce is going to be on Friday Night With Johnathon Ross at 1045pm on BBC 1 tonight! 22/6/06.
If you all can remember Cybill has been on it as well , i think she was on there last time promoting her book.Dont forget to set your VCRs guys.

:D I have just had a google message that Bruce is over here in the UK - in London to be precise , which of course he must be if he is doing the Johathon Ross show .I wonder if he will head down to the south coast , maybe Portsmouth for example! Well i can dream can`t i .:)

Did anyone manage to catch Bruce on the UK breakfast show GMTV this morning .Luckily for me just as i was about to turn off the tv and take the kids to school i heard them mention his name and just had time to pop a tape in to record it before rushing out the door. Anyway when i got back i watch it , it was ok ( Bruce was wearing specs but he still looked hot!)But i will say this he seemed rather subdued in this interview like he really didn`t want be there. Funnily enough the interviewer was Ben Shepherd ( no relation to blondie).Ben did ask him if his daughters have ever watched him in Moonlighting and Bruce said that they had. Also a nice photo of Bruce and Cybill came up on the screen.Only one complaint , it was extremely short.
But i never scoff at a chance to see Brucie no matter how short!

I think BW is performing at The Mint in Idaho tomorrow night (july 1).
What's interesting is that it is NOT listed as Bruce Willis and The Accelerators but as Bruce Willis' Blues Band.
Is there something going on? What's up with Brown?

Some people on another site did go to The Mint performance, but I didn't read any mentions of Brown.

The fans seemed to have a great time in Hailey.

Was Brown there? Does anyone know anything?

Did you mean the site of The Mint in Hailey, Idaho?

Or do you want the site that the fans have posted their trip information? It's not a site, but it's a club on Yahoo. I will try to help BUT I can't remember HOW to get on their site - I do get some e-mails from the BW site so that is how I know that some of the fans went to see the concert.
