CUPID HAS HIS EYE ON PHOEBE - Piper (Holly Marie Combs) organizes and engagement party for Paige (Rose McGowan) and Henry (Ivan Sergei), but the wedding is put in jeopardy when the couple begins to get cold feet. Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) notices a strange man following her, and soon discovers that he is Cupid (Victor Webster). Meanwhile, a demon kidnaps Christy (Marnette Patterson) in order to lure The Charmed Ones into attacking the Triad and prevent them from taking over the Underworld. Kaley Cuoco also stars.

The Fast Nationals are out for this Sunday's (2/26/06) original telecast of episode 816 "Engaged and Confused". Despite facing tougher than usual competition from ABC's Dancing With The Stars and the Olympic Closing Ceremony on NBC, Charmed is up in the fast national compared to the previous week. 2.6/4 is the fast national rating for this week. "The Last Temptation of Christy" brought in a fast national rating of 2.3/4 and 3,890,000 viewers.
Stay tuned for final numbers (that might very well have cracked the four million mark) that are to be released tomorrow.

Update: Paige's wedding cracked the four million mark for the first time in 2006, bringing in 4,070,000 viewers. This is an improvement of 180,000 viewers or 4.63%. The above average numbers of this week's episode made Charmed TheWB's most watched show of the week. The special encore presentation of "The Lost Picture Show" at 9/8c drew a good 2,860,000 viewers.
This episode conculded Charmed's last February Sweep period, the show will return on April 16.

Every time this show seems to build a little ratings momentum they seem to put it on hiatus. People now seem interested in the Billie/Christy triad thing and now they are giving it time off again. I bet when it returns the ratings will be flat again. Not very bright programming decision if you ask me.
