There is a thread about depressing songs, so I thought I'd make one about upbeat music. Are there any particular bands or musicians that you listen to that put you into a good mood because of their upbeatness?

I've been trying to write an essay tonight so I've been listening to a lot of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!. They usually put me into a happy mood and keep me awake. Another great band who is generally upbeat are The New Pornographers, especially The Electric Version. I could go on, there are so many great upbeat songs that I enjoy listening to. I have an entire playlist in iTunes that I listen to whenever I'm in a crappy mood.

The New Christy Minstrels. They had a lot of upbeat and cheery songs.
Also, a lot of '50s/early '60s music and surf music.
