Who thought that Natasha Bedingfield sounded like Nelly Furtado? :o When I heard "These Words", I thought "Nelly Furtado has a new hit out?" ;) Then the radio announcer said, "That was 'These Words' by Natasha Bedingfield." I was like, "Natasha Bedingfield?! Who's that?"

Why is that? I should probably look it up myself (Sorry, Janice Johnson! I'm breaking one of your rules! :p ) but I'll wait to hear what you have to say.

It was meant as a joke about Nelly Furtado being a one hit wonder.

LOL, Oh! I don't know a thing about Nelly Furtado so I thought that was for real... like she stated she's through with music or something.

I guess the "joke's" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Promiscuous_%28song%29) on vashti. :p

I hate Natasha Bedingfield btw. I can't believe how over-played "Unwritten" was.

Yeah, Nelly's making a comeback.

Plus, technically, she had hits in the past already with I'm Like a Bird and Turn Off the Light.

Promiscuous Girl?

Lol, that stuff was talked about way before Promiscuous came out. When it did, I knew it would be a hit, and I'd have to bump this topic up. So I kinda waited for it to chart well so I could tease vashti about his comment.

I think vashti called her a one-hit-wonder because of "I'm Like a Bird," which I thought was her only hit too. I just looked up "Turn Off the Light," because I forgot about it. Yeah, it did well too so she was technically never a one-hit-wonder.

That's right. I admit I have to eat my words. Nelly Furtado has the #1 single. (http://billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1002764424)

She'll have another number one after she releases "Maneater."
