I'm just curious when did boi spelling become so popular?
What exactly does it mean? I always thought it was boy.

Czas na Zywiec 02-23-2006, 03:26 AM It does mean boy, but it's just annoying internet slang created by who knows who just because it looks "cool." It's kind of like gurl, kewl, teh, etc. I hate it though. Just because you're on the internet, doesn't mean grammar rules don't apply anymore. dawsongirl 02-23-2006, 03:56 AM boi looks stupid. looks like it's a Chinese dish of some sort. InspectorExstead 02-23-2006, 10:37 AM Avril Lavigne. Pretty much...before her song "Skater Boi" I didn't know the spelling "boi" existed. I don't like it...it looks weird. I don't understand why people spell it like that. Just put a y and that's it! It'll still be the same number of letters. And the y is in the same line on the keyboard as the i, so it's not like it's wayyyy out of your way. haha. Polniaczek033 02-23-2006, 05:32 PM Boi is the worst internet slang ever IMO :( and it's not even just internet slang. i know people that write 'boi' on papers and stuff. Chad Michael Murray 02-23-2006, 05:36 PM It's also slang for a young homosexual guy, I believe. That's what I assumed before, at least, unless it's just a coincidence.
