There are a lot of Threads started and a lot of them are "Getting to know You" types of threads. So I thought this would be a good one to start. Sorry if this one has been done before.

But I thought it would be interesting to see what all types of jobs everyone have. Even if your in High School and College or a stay at home Mom and Dad, they are all jobs in my eyes.

I'm a Medical Transcriptionist, it's a great job because I can work from home or from the office.

So what do you do?

I'm just a College student, that's all.

I'm a small business owner. I own an auto repair shop.

I'm a teacher's aide. I work with a couple of special education students who are mainstreamed in the regular classroom.

I am a high school freshman :D

i'm a high school freshman, a rockstar, and will soon be working in a small ice cream shop. :)

I'm a producer in both radio and television...mostly news right now.

I'm a Business Consultant, I basically help businesses grow or revise businesses who are having trouble turning a profit.

I work at the same community college where I study in. My job title is an Instruction Support Technician where we work with various computer classrooms in our division. We do computer maintenance (upgrade, set up, install, fix, and troubleshoot), we assist instructors, we help students with computer-related questions, and we even substitute computer classes.

I'm also a part-time college student taking between one to two classes per semester to get my BS at the university of my state. I am almost finished with my 100- and 200-level community college classes, and then I will start taking the 300- and 400-level university courses sometime this year.

well not addicted, but it's like a simpler, college version of myspace. I like it. :D

I've thought about studying that, because I can stay in the medical field, but not have to deal with the stupidity of some patients. lol

Anyway, I'm a receptionist at a clinic. I take phone calls from people who have no clue what they came out here for or who they talked to. :rolleyes:

Yeah it's a great job to have, if you do decide to study for it, let me tell you that you'll have to take classes that has nothing at all to with Medical Transcription LOL.

But it's great to see that there are a lot of College students in here.

Right now I pretty much just suck up oxygen. Naah, I'm responsible for keeping a house of three, well four if I count myself, clean. So most of my days are spent doing that kind of crap. Lately Iv'e been seeing my therapist, and we are working towards getting me into College, and then eventually getting me a good satisfying job. Hopefully in the relief work field. I got alot of cool things lined up. After I do the College thing, I'll have alot of opportunities, so things are starting to get exciting for me.

I work full-time as a sales associate for a call center. People call up and order office supplies from me. I guess I'm like a cashier but I just do it over the phone and with a computer. I get to talk to people all over the country every day...it's really kind of neat. :D

Now I'm an "Educational Associate." First part of the day I shadow a special ed student, second part I am teacher slave.

I work for Whole Foods.

Dishwasher, trash, overall grunt.

It's a good job. Good pay and and it's the first time I've ever had good benefits. It's an exceptional job for someone starting out in the workforce. I wouldn't work at any other grocery store, if I could help it.

I suppose the reason I've been annoyed by it so entirely is because I've been spoiled with a volunteer position I had last year, made me feel like I was making a difference.

That, coupled with the fact that we are short-staffed, dishwashing kinda sucks, and I've had dishes kicked at me(by an employee who is no longer there), has made the last few months a difficult transition.

But here we are!
