Now that we got a look at their performances, how far do you see them making it on the show?

I'm only going to do the ones I think have a chance at making the top 12.

Katharine McPhee -- I can definitely see her making the top 4 at least, and possibly making it into the top 2, or at least I hope. I think she's somebody who can be as consistent was Kelly Clarkson, since she's very experienced, so I hope she doesn't start regressing.

Paris Bennett -- I can see her making the top 5 at least, and maybe the top 3. Something tells me that she won't make the top 2 though. I think her performance last night was great, but she does have vocal limits.

Mandisa -- This girl really impressed me last night. She's like Jennifer Hudson but with more personality. I can see her going really far. How far? Not sure. Definitely top 8, and I would love to see her make the top 5, but I have a feeling she'll be the "shocker elimination" of the season, as Paris and Lisa seem to have more fans.

Kellie Pickler -- I really like her, but I seriously doubt she'll win. I hope she makes the final five, but something tells me she'll fall short and place sixth or seventh, which is still good considering the stiff competition this year. Last night wasn't her best, and it showed that she needs to work on her high notes, but I think if she finds the right song, she can really show that she can go far. The 10-second clip of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" we heard in the last Hollywood episode sounded great :)

Lisa Tucker -- No doubt she had a great performance last night, and she even has a wider vocal range than Paris Bennett, but I just don't see her going as far as she deserves to. The weird thing is, is that I really like her, but sometimes she seems forgettable. Hmm. I can see a 9th, 8th, 7th, or 6th finish for her.

Ayla Brown -- She surprised me last night. If she continues, she can make the top 12, but not go any farther than 10th, sadly, since the other five girls have created larger fanbases. If not Ayla, I think Becky O'Donohue might be able to get the male voting and make it. I even think Melissa McGee could be able to get through since she impressed the judges, but I did find her forgettable too.

Stevie, Brenna, Kinnik, and Heather, I think, have no chance.

Katherine McPhee- Man, she can SING!!! I'll be shocked if she doesnt make top 3, honestly. She has a voice simular to Kelly Clarkson and she possibly one of the best female talents AI ever had (behind Kelly and Carrie). She has a good shot at making finale, but i dont think she'll win, because most people want a guy to win this year, and i think most people would vote for a guy over her.

Kellie Picker- She gave a great performance last night. But shes too much like Carrie to win. I can see her making top 8 and maybe top 5, but im not sure she has the voice to win it all.

Mandisa- She's defintiley gonna make at least top 10. She has the performance skills, and though her vocals are weaker then others, she does have a good voice, enough to carry her top the top 7/8. I can see a 7th or 6th place finish for her. I dont think she'll make top 5, simply because shes good, but others have a bigger fanbase and voice then her.

Lisa Tucker- Lisa has a great voice and has amazing talent. She'll make top 12 and probably top 10 with no sweat. But, although she outsings Paris and Mandisa, Paris and Mandisa just seem to be more "popular" then her for some reason. I think she'll place around 9th or 8th and will be the shock elimination of season 5.

Ayla Brown- If she keeps giving great performance, I could see her in the top 12, but unfortunatley, she reminds me a lot Lindsey Cardinale last year and Im not sure if she'll go far in it. If she keeps giving performances like "Reflection", she could make top 10, but i dont think she'll get any further then 10th or 9th. The reason being is that America knows if she doesnt make it on Idol, she always has basketball to look back to, unlike someone such as Kellie, who doesnt really have anything to go back to, so America wont feel bad voting her off early. So therefore, I see a 12th, 11th, or 10th place for her.

Becky O'Donahue- The chances of her making top 12 are slim, but not impossible. She doesnt have a good enough voice for the finals, but she COULD make it through based on looks. She'll get the male vote, but I think eventually, the female voters will outpower the males voting for her. So I see a pre-top 12 or 12th placing for her.

Melissa McGhee- Melissa has the potentiol to become this year's Kelly/LaToya/Jasmine/Bo...a.ka the person who got no airtime but still made it far. I think that she has the voice potenitol, and if she steps that up, she can make top 12. She will, however, have to step up her performances and vocal talent. I see a pre-top 12, 12th, 11th, 10th, or even 9th placing for her.

Paris Bennett- I think she'll make top 5, but she's too much like Fantasia to win. Plus, i dont think she has a good enough voice to win. I think she'll place 4th or 3rd.

the rest's chances are slim to none on making top 12
