If Sasha Mitchell hadn't been kicked off Step by Step, how many more seasons would it have lasted? I would have probably given it 2 more seasons.

Me too. I think SBS'd have 7 seasons anyway. There would have been no boring disneyland and last two odd epizodes of season 7. Season 7 would have had more epizodes.

200 eps would have been also possible, but... We do not know at al. And Cody irritated me since season 4, Sasha wasn't as excellent as in the first 3.

I voted 0. Cody is actually one of my least favorite characters....Not to sound like a complete ass, but I was happy that he had to leave the show...I also liked the last couple of years when he wasn't there because the show changed alittle. It got more adult like, and sometimes perverted, lol. Oh and I love Lilly and Rich.

I was referring to how many more seasons after 1998.

Oh sorry! In that case, 0 or 1.

I agree it should've been two more seasons as well. Maybe he could've thrown a life preserver @ Brendan to save his character from going to "The Island of Misfit Sitcom Characters". Here are two possibilities.

1). Cody teaches Brendan to fix motorcycles & later gets him a ninja bike for his 16th birthday.

2). Brendan takes up the guitar & gets lessons from Cody. Then Brendan starts a cool boy band with Cody as manager.

The show really went downhill when they brought in Bronson Pinchott playing his Balki character as a French guy. I liked the last season better, didn't really miss the Code Man. Whatever happened to Brenden? or Flash?

SBS sucked without Cody. The End.

I have a feeling that if Mitchell didn't have to leave the show, his Cody character would be the one hooking up with Dana instead of Rich.

Because he would get in moods and walk off the set and come in late and stuff like that.I guess the producers of the show couldn't put up with it anymore .They heard he got arrested for beating his wife

He was kicked off because he was a Coke Head! He was addicted, very badly. It was all over the news and stuff back then too. A whole controversy. He left to get better.... And all those reasons that Chain Gang said too...It's sad really.

I would have to say none, or 2 0r 3. First I would say none, because ABC Got rid of of Family Matters, and if Family Matters was gone from ABC, so would Step by Step. And Once it moved to CBS, it probably would have only gone on the time it had, because once CBS scrapped its friday night lineup, they wouldn't move Step by Step to another day of the week, no matter what. Even if Cody still was a character on the show. I know for a fact that once Sasha Mitchell came on the show in the fourth or fifth episode, then ratings hugely improved.
